Master classes are for classical guitar students, professionals, and advanced active players. Classes begin on June 6 with a document The Guitar is Their Song at Tampere Hall (check in at the lobby from 12 to 1 pm). There’s a bus transportation to Voionmaa Institute after the evening concert at 9 pm.
You can apply for master classes as an active or passive student. Actives may choose 1 to 4 lessons (100 € each) to be used as indivuals or groups. Prices include seminars and following of the other lessons. All lessons are held at the Voionmaa Institute. Lessons are held in English.
Big concert package (100 €) includes all concerts, Small concert package (50 €) all except the concerts on June 6 (Williams, Etheridge, Evening Concert).
Accommodation and meals at the Voionmaa Institute cost 195 €. Price includes accommodation in a room for 2-4 persons, five meals per day, festival transportation and insurance. Rooms include a towel, sheets, toilet and shower. Room for 4 has also a kitchen, in double rooms there is a shared kitchen.
On June 13 transportation will be organized to bus and railway stations, as well as to the Pirkkala airport, if needed.
Students from abroad may ask for discount from student fee. Festival Office may give discounts if the lessons are not full. Nordic Guitar Project allows 2 students from Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Island participate for free! 2nd time participants will get -80 % discount, 3rd time and more -50 %. Applications for Nordic Guitar Project will be available on April 2010 after we get confirmation of funding the project.
